We’re in a historic building in the centre of Bologna, just a minute’s walk from Piazza Maggiore. Classrooms are air-conditioned.
Courses are from a minimum of one week, from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. For the first two hours you’ll learn new grammar and vocabulary, then take a break at the bar with your teacher and classmates (speaking Italian, naturally), and back to the school for the second ‘skills’ part of the lesson.
In the afternoons a tutor will help with homework or just chat to you. Optional social activities help you make friends and practise.
Where we are
The school is situated in a historic building in a typical porticoed street, right in the centre of Bologna. You’ll find us just a few metres from Via Indipendenza and Via Rizzoli, less than a minute’s walk from Piazza Maggiore, the absolute center of the city.
We have 7 classrooms, all air-conditioned. Each has space for up to 10 students and some have affrescoed ceilings and mosaic floors.
Of course, there’s free WiFi, so you can use your smartphone or tablet to study or stay in touch.

Our Italian language school
ITALIAN COURSES IN BOLOGNA OR ONLINE
Standard (20-hour per week) Italian course
The most popular option. Study for four hours in the morning, in a small group. Each lesson involves new grammar, vocabulary, and opportunities to speak and listen to Italian.
Intensive (30-hour per week) Italian course
Make the maximum progress in the minimum time: the Standard Italian course but with an additional afternoon lesson.
Italian Evening Courses
For students who can’t attend each day we offer evening classes twice a week.
Individual or Semi-individual Italian lessons
Personalised individual lessons give you complete flexibility and privacy. Chose days/times (no minimum/maximum number of hours) and decide lesson content according to your priorities.
‘In A Day’ Italian Courses
Ideal for visitors to Bologna, these last just a day and include both Italian lessons and your choice from a list of activities. Taught by experienced mother-tongue Italian teachers. Lunch included!
