LINGUAVIVA LIGNANO
Summer programme for Juniors in Lignano – Friuli Venezia Giulia
Since 1995, our international summer camp has hosted young students from around the world to follow our educational and sports programmes. Linguaviva centre and its residence are located in the middle of a wide pine tree forest. Here, they can use our numerous sports facilities, such as swimming pools, basketball and soccer fields, and tennis and volleyball courts. Moreover, the centre provides a fully equipped private beach.
Where to find us
Lignano is located on a green peninsula stretching out to the Adriatic Sea. Situated between Venice and Trieste, it is a popular holiday destination visited by an international crowd. With its lively atmosphere, Lignano also provides the ideal environment for study and leisure to younger people.

Our programme
The programme includes Italian courses in the morning and various sports and leisure activities in the afternoon and evening.
Considering student’s age and the place where course takes place, the teaching methods is mainly communicative. Upon their arrival, students, with some prior knowledge of the Italian language, take a written and oral test to evaluate their knowledge and place them in the most suitable level. Lessons are held both outdoors and indoors depending on the needs.
The activities offered are divided in sports, leisure and beach. During the activities, students are always under the supervision of the camp councillors. During the week, one day is dedicated to excursions in places of interest near Lignano: Venice, Verona, Gardaland fun park and Trieste.
Programme participants are placed in the residence’s rooms with three or four beds and private bathrooms. Everyday room cleaning service is guaranteed.
Programme participants are offered full pension, with breakfast, lunch and dinner served at the restaurant of the campus.
All Linguaviva staff live on premises and offer continuous assistance.
