Our school has been teaching Italian in Verona since 2002. In the over 18 years since we opened, we have taught Italian to more than 10 000 students from all over the world. At LINGUA IT, you will find Italian culture in a constant dialogue with multiculturalism. Our teaching team’s motto is “not only language, but also experience!” “You can find our school in Verona, a lively and dynamic city in the Veneto region. The historic centre of Verona is a jewel of rare beauty, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. In the summer, the city’s famous Opera Festival takes place in the Verona Arena and all the streets and squares are full of atmosphere in this season. But Verona is a lively city all year round: the shopping streets are famous all over the world and the rich culinary history of the area is celebrated today in the many top quality restaurants and traditional osterias, where you can try simple local dishes and wonderful regional wines. It is very easy to organise day tips from Verona and to visit the nearby artistic centres. You can immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Lake Garda, trying your hand at wind or kite surfing, hiking biking in the mountains or discover our area and its beauty with a particular focus on art history and gastronomy.

- Accreditations: LINGUA IT is a member of EDUITALIA and our courses are recognised by the BILDUNGSURLAUB. We offer placements for those studying the L2 Masters in Italian language teaching at the Italian Universities. LINGUA IT also organises courses to prepare for the PLIDA and CILS exams.

Our Italian language school
At LINGUA IT, you can create a programme of study personal to you, choosing from a range of options including: standard, group Italian classes; one-to-one classes; twin courses, history of art classes; cookery classes; guided tours; and a variety of other activities. When you return home, you can even choose to continue your course on line.
OUR COOKERY SCHOOL
At LINGUA IT, we have installed a real kitchen where a professional chef can show you the traditional cuisine of Italy. You will learn how to cook like an Italian, become familiar with quality ingredients and get to taste local wines. Practical cooking classes end with everyone coming together to chat in Italian, enjoying a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
LINGUA IT organises educational stays for school groups with homestay accommodation, as well as extra-curricular activities, trips and visits.
