Italian language school in Milazzo – Sicilia
Founded in 1994, Laboling offers student-centred courses in Italian language and culture.
Our team of experienced teachers looks after each student’s needs and continuous professional development ensures we are always up to date with the latest teaching methodologies.
All our staff members actively follow students’ development, taking care of accommodation, free time and excursions. As a student at our school, you will be encouraged to put into practice what you have learnt and you will experience the authentic Italian way of life.
Where we are
Laboling is based in the centre of Milazzo, one of the most beautiful and picturesque places in the Mediterranean. Situated on a strip of land leading to the marine-protected promontory at the cape, Milazzo boasts an East Coast and a West Coast and is an ideal springboard for visiting the nearby Aeolian Islands.
Thanks to its topography, everything is close in Milazzo. There are only 500 metres between one coast and the other. In the centre, near the school, you will find the best restaurants, cafés and pastry shops to sample the delights of Sicilian cuisine. The castle, which dominates the historic quarter with its vibrant night life, is just a ten minute walk away, and the port, with daily departures for the Aeolian Islands, is a five minute walk.

Our Italian language school
Laboling organises courses in Italian language and culture for all ages and levels. At our school we offer group and individual lessons, and preparation for CILS exams (Certification of Italian as a foreign language from the Università per Stranieri di Siena) for which our school is an examination centre. We are also a training and examination centre for the DITALS Certification for those who wish to embark on a career as a teacher of Italian as a second language.
Small class sizes and communicative teaching methodology enable students to speak and interact with classmates and teachers while practising what they have learnt.
All our courses can take place in the classroom or online via platforms such as Skype, Zoom or Google Meet.
We organise many activities in Italian: excursions, visits with a tour guide, aperitifs, meals and Sicilian cookery lessons, as well as wine-tasting and sampling of typical local products.
