Italian language school in Florence – Tuscany

At Centro Italiano Firenze aside from learning the language in a welcoming and familiar atmosphere (classes with maximum 6), the student can directly experience the various aspects of Italian culture and the Florentine daily life. Italian courses combined with art and craftmanship, cooking and wine culture, enable the participants to discover the artistic beauties of the town and its surroundings. Visiting Tuscan cities and countryside on foot or by bicycle, and getting to know the people offers a unique experience.
It is also possible to attend photography, multimedia and crafts courses.

Where we are

The school is located in the district of S. Ambrogio (Santa Croce) in the centre of Florence. Students who attend our classes can enjoy the following location benefits:

Our Italian language school

Our Italian language and culture courses are officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and by the Regional School Office.
The school is recognized by the University of Siena as a CILS exam center, both in Florence and Merano. Cils means Italian Certification as a Foreign language of Siena’s University.
Students can choose between courses in small groups and individual lessons (also for professionals), or select special course options like:

  • Preparation course for Cils exam
  • Traveling from Florence to Naples: the students learn Italian while visiting Florence, Rome and Naples in 2 weeks
  • Studying Italian combined with an Internship in a local company
  • Italian courses combined with art, craft, cooking, wine harvesting, walking or bike touring.

Centro Italiano Firenze is not only a school of Italian language but also a cultural center for foreigners and Italians who wish to create and share language, art and culture.
