Where we are
The ABC School is located in the charming Baia del Silenzio, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the centre of Sestri Levante.
Sestri Levante is famous for its beautiful sea, its many public beaches and its “relaxed” atmosphere. It is a simultaneously lively and peaceful town, and the temperature is always pleasant.
Those who love the sea know that it is beautiful in any season, in spring and autumn too, and there are always plenty of activities to do: trekking in the hills, diving, boat tours, walks, bike rides, tastings of typical food and wine of the area, or simply staying on the beach to read a good book with the sound of the sea in the background and doing good, wholesome walks along the seafront.
Located between Portofino and the Cinque Terre, Sestri is also ideal for exploring the most beautiful places in Liguria; lively and colourful seaside towns, noted for their panoramas, as well as their gastronomical traditions

Our Italian language school
The school is suited to students of every age.
The classes are very small and therefore you will have more opportunity to speak. All of the activities are in Italian: Italian cultural seminars (music, film, art, cuisine, Italian traditions), walks in the hills surrounding the town, evenings together including aperitifs, dinners, cooking lessons and tastings of wine, cheese and other typical local products. Even at the weekends you will not feel alone. On Saturdays we organise for you excursions to the Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, San Fruttuoso, Rapallo, Camogli, Levanto, Framura, Bonassola, Zoagli and Genoa.
Sestri Levante, in addition, offers events of every type, to suit all tastes.
Special courses: The school, also offers combined courses and courses in preparation for the AIL (Accademia Italiana di Lingua), CILS and CELI exams (we are an approved examination centre for AIL).
Language and school trips: The school organises language trips for high-school, senior and university groups, with the course, activities, excursions and accommodation included.
